SARI Colloquium: You can’t spell Engineering Ethics without EE
Abstract
This discussion-based workshop will focus on SARI (Scholarship and Research Integrity) with the goal of further ensuring we all embrace ethical conduct of research and scholarship here at Penn State and beyond.
Biography
Hailing from the Wilds of southern Illinois, Prof. Kane (and family) came to Penn State in the mid-90s. Initially a Post-Doc at the Applied Research Lab (ARL), he expanded into his current role as Professor of Electrical Engineering (EE) as well as Meteorology & Atmospheric Science (MAS) shortly thereafter. Kane is a multi-disciplinary generalist whose research (as an engineer/scientist) and educational & outreach efforts reflect his broad interests. He works in the fields of Optical Remote Sensing, Propagation, Communications, and Space Weather.
