Fitness Centers
There are four fitness facilites on campus for weight lifting and cardiovascular training.
Graduate and Professional Student Association (GPSA)
The GPSA website has a lot of information that will be helpful for students new to the area. Here you will find information from baby-sitting services to paper editing services. In addition, the GSA has a housing committee.
Health Services
University Health Services (UHS) is a nationally accredited health care service specializing in outpatient student health, helping Penn State students get healthy and stay healthy.
Housing
- Off-Campus Living: The Off-Campus Living office at Penn State has lists of available housing that you can search on-line. There is also information here about parking and other issues related to living off campus.
- State College.com: Here you can search for apartments for rent in the area. You will also find general information on the website regarding restaurants, local entertainment, news, weather and more.
Public Transportation
The Centre Area Transportation Authority (CATA) provides reliable, clean bus transportion on campus and in the surrounding communities.
