Abstract: A guided and interactive discussion on ethics in electrical engineering.
Bio.: Hailing from the Wilds of southern Illinois, Prof. Kane (and family) came to Penn State in the mid-90s. Initially a Post-Doc at the Applied Research Lab (ARL), he expanded into his current role as Professor of Electrical Engineering (EE) as well as Meteorology & Atmospheric Science (MAS) shortly thereafter. Kane is a multi-disciplinary generalist whose research (as an engineer/scientist) and educational & outreach efforts reflect his broad interests.
